Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the assistant, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service description

My Assistant App is a private, invite-only AI assistant. It can take notes, manage tasks and meetings, scan receipts and cards, store documents, answer questions, and optionally read or update your Google Calendar when you explicitly connect it.

3. Accounts and invites

Access is currently by invitation code. You may not share your account credentials or resell, transfer, or share invite codes outside the people you are allowed to invite. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Violate any law or infringe someone else’s rights.
• Send or store harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Access another user’s account or data.

5. Your content

Notes, recordings, photos, documents and other content you add belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, process, and display that data to you through the service.

6. Third-party services

You may connect Google Calendar through OAuth. Those connections are governed by Google’s terms and policies, and you can revoke access at any time from the app’s Settings or your Google Account.

7. Payments

Paid features and subscriptions, when enabled, are billed according to the plan shown at signup or in your account. You can cancel or delete your account at any time.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for abuse. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent and removes your data and connected services.

9. Disclaimers

The assistant uses AI and can make mistakes. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. We provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. Continued use after the changes means you accept them.
